The Gospel Invitation

Has anyone ever taken the Bible and explained to you how to get to heaven?

  1. The Bad News
    • We are born sinners (Romans 3:23).
    • There is a penalty for our sins. It is a physical and spiritual death (Romans 6:23).
    • The penalty for sin must be paid by someone (Hebrews 9:27).
  2. The Good News
    • Christ died for us and paid our sin debt (Romans 5:8).
    • Christ wants us to be saved by faith alone (Ephesians 2:8-9).
    • If we repent of our sins and invite Jesus Christ to be our Lord and Savior, we can have eternal life (Romans 10:13; John 1:12, 3:16).
